Get a rare view of places like the Metro sets where classic and popular movies were shot, like Captain America, Hobbs & Shaw from Fast & Furious, Lady Gaga’s Edge of Glory Music Video, Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal, and most recently, Jumanji 3 featuring The Rock! This trip of the Universal Backlot Studio Tram Tour is very special since this is the first day when 3D across the entire Tour was discontinued! After the closure of Fast & Furious: Supercharged, the only section of the Tram Tour that used 3D was King Kong 360 3D. This made guests on the Studio Tour hold onto 3D glasses for 45 minutes for a 3-minute experience. So to reduce operation costs and guests who suffer from motion sickness, the 3D was fully removed from the Studio Tram Tour! With the removal of the 3D from the King Kong 360 attraction at Universal Backlot Studio Tour, the screens have become brighter and clearer. This is due to having two different projectors, as well as having a portion of the light being filtered through the polarized 3D Glasses.
