"Everything in life can be mathed if you just think about it for long enough" Earlier this year, the passing of actor Michelle Trachtenberg triggered something unexpected in me. She’d quietly been a part of my life since childhood, always showing up in the background, and then suddenly, she was gone. I didn’t know her personally, but her loss hit hard. And my OCD turned that grief into obsession. I made an album to survive the pain of loss. I’m not doing this for money. If the project makes anything, I plan to donate a portion to mental health and anti-bullying organizations, because Michelle deserved a kinder world than the one she got. The rest may go toward sustaining the work. But my intent has always been about connection, not profit. My silly OCD feels like if enough people listen to these songs than maybe, JUST maybe Michelle will hear how much she mattered.
