RCF SUB 705 AS II, full review! The 18" alternative for mobile DJs? Small box, huge sound!

In need of a smaller alternative to 18" powered subwoofers, I went searching for big sound in a small box. With various options from QSC, JBL, EV, FBT, Turbosound, Mackie, Cerwin Vega, and RCF - I needed to make a decision. Overall construction, quality, usable frequency response down to a real 40hz (tested), and light weight made the RCF a winner for me. It sounds SO GOOD for a compact subwoofer. It's a bit more money than most compact 15" mobile subs on the market, but not too much more. I really think the box, design and internal DSP make this subwoofer a secret weapon of sound, and with two - you're in great shape without taking up nearly as much space as two traditional 18" boxes. I LOVE BassBoss and JTR cabinets, but sadly are just too big for my needs. Seriously, if size and money is not an issue, check those out!
