Robert Cassard plays the 3 vintage Harmonys he owns then shares the history of the world's largest guitar company. Harmony made over 10 MILLION guitars in two Chicago factories between 1945 and 1975 (when they went bankrupt). Mid-and upscale Harmony electrics had a unique and distinctly vintage "woofy" tone, thanks largely to the infamous gold foil pickups, manufactured by another American company, DeArmond (Rowe Industries).
