Staying at BALLERTER SCOTLAND to visit Tarland is in my opinion best place. The campsite is cheaper and better than others I tried. the town has two bike shops so your ready for any repairs. However ther are two local trail that are a absolute must rides. Heartbreak rige and mastermind see trailforks for the trail locations and gpx I was visiting Scotland to enter the macAvalanche at fort William and decided to stay longer and mountain bike in as many locations as possible. I visited GLENLIVET LAGGON WOLFTRAX TARLAND 2 HEARTBREAK RIDGE MASTERMIND Scotland has allot to offer. I highly recommend a visit for riding and tourism in general. I planned to ride my giant reign but some mechanical issues ment a last minute swap to the tractor Haibike xduro dispite it's uglyness and wierd geometry it's quite a caperble bike. so let's look at airs rock a massive steep rock slab. drone footage and gopro too flatten everything. I promise when your at the top your going to pucker this a bit. I definitely did. as far as I could tell you can't stop and it would be a bad idea to try.
