►One of the most common oil leak points on an air-cooled 911 engine is around the oil return tubes. As the name implies, the tubes are in place so that the oil leaving the cylinder head can rejoin the rest of the engine. However, the o-rings on either end will shrink with age, leading to a leak. The replacement tubes aren't like the originals. Installing the original tubes requires removing the cylinder heads, so the replacements are two-piece units that expand into place. They're still a factory design, so there's nothing to worry about regarding replacement quality. In reality, the replacement is relatively simple and shouldn't take too much time and effort.
