Nobody wanted to go down into the mine, however, because it is haunted by "Witte Wieven" (a ghost-like creature in Dutch folklore). The Baron now "hires" guests to dig the gold up for him, using the elevator to get down into the mines (a broken elevator with a test seat is located next to the queue).
