One way of handling these disagreements is an Alternative Dispute Resolution. This video defines ADR and covers a variety of information about them as well as pros and cons. The information was compiled from Procedural Safeguards, online resources, Special Education advocates (SEALs), SELPA and school administrators, and parents.
