While descriptions of the unconscious existed before psychoanalysis, the idea of dynamic unconscious, which constantly influences our conscious choices, decisions, and attitudes, has given rise to a new science and practice. In this video, various conceptions of unconscious and evidence for its existence and power are reviewed.
