Varalakonda Trekking truly a Valley of Flowers. It's an Adventurous Trek near Bangalore a must visit place for sure. A hidden gem of a trek close to Bengaluru! The Varlakonda Fort Trek is a scenic hikes in the outskirts of Bengaluru. You trek through wildflowers and shrubbery, past cacti and vast rock sections, amid beautiful views of the city surrounded by other hills. It is one of the few treks close to Bengaluru to have such a diverse terrain. Further, the view from the top is unmatched. I have never in any treks around in Bangalore I have seen so many Flowers and of different colours and variety so will call this as the Valley of Flowers of Bangalore.. When we were climbing - Locals were shouting from down stating to go further left , But yeah at that height and a new place you feel they might be scolding but honestly, we could not hear the word clearly. Later once we came down the gentleman pointed out that I was screaming to go further left why you were not listening, That was a hilarious conversation because people there speak mix of Telugu and Kannada and hence for people who don't know either of these language do need someone to translate. But Yeah the local people are very welcoming and sweet and down to earth - Imagine you have a crop full of flowers we just stood there and were watching ...They asked us to go inside and take pics and yeah in video 13.33 the uncle demanded ...Let me say it again ..DEMANDED me to take video as he saw the camera in my hand ... People are amazing and helpful, Place is beautiful and you have a good company ..what else are you looking for . Had a really good time.. Left the place with a smile...Cheers.!! How to reach - Take the airport road and after Devanahalli go for another 47 KMs and take left. You will see the the hill on your left, and google maps shows you right way.
