Patients had a greater decrease in inflammatory lesions (acne) (57.4% vs 50% in PERFECT1 and 65.4% vs 51.1% in PERFECT2 P ⋖ 0.001) and noninflammatory lesions. **we can assume since both studies values are less than 0.05 that they’re statistically significant with their findings on the correlation of acne + tret (or any retinoid tbh). The caveat is patients who were allergic to tret.
