Sara and Simon have a dinghy that they use to lay nets, and sometimes tow a spinner on a handline behind for mackerel, but they'd never been rod and line fishing. So when I visited them in Portloe on the south Cornish coast, I took down lots of spare gear and we all went out fishing. They didn't believe we'd catch anything, and were very sceptical we'd get enough mackerel for tea, let alone anything bigger. This is what happened... My thanks to Sean Geer for yet again ploughing through a million hours of dreadful video footage to find the most usable bits, and then assembling them into something resembling a story, though I wish he could do something about the presenter. Further thanks are also due to Marcus Dyne for the intro music. He's not useless either. 0:00 Intro to the day fishing from Portloe 0:38 Putting to sea 0:59 Peace and gibberish 1:21 Simon's first fish 1:55 Sara's first fish 3:09 Something bigger grabs my sandeel bait 3:57 Not a mackerel 4:43 Fish identification masterclass 5:52 A fool and his starfish 6:28 Best mackerel of the day If you want to see more of this rubbish, please consider clicking on the like and subscribe buttons, before deciding not to, and sending an angry email to YouTube telling them to take this nonsense down.
