Our LCAs act as vital representatives in villages around protected areas, playing a crucial role in monitoring and mapping lion occupancy, human-lion conflicts, and other lion mortality events, as well as tracking the presence of wild animals on communal lands. This comprehensive training equips our ambassadors with essential skills, including: Data collection using KOBO and GPS Resolving human-wildlife conflicts Effective communication with local communities Promoting lion conservation and combating illegal lion killing Our LCAs are committed to making a significant difference and ensuring a peaceful coexistence between communities and wildlife.
