The Legendary Story of the Last Emperor Puyi from Emperor to Citizen Aisin Gioro Pu Yi (February 7, 1906 - October 17, 1967) was a Chinese character Yaozhi and was known as Hao Ran. He was the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty. He was the great-grandson of Daoguang Emperor Minning, the grandson of Prince Yixuan, the nephew of Guangxu Emperor, and the eldest son of Regent Zai Feng, whose mother was Suwan Guaerjia Youlan. reigned from 1908 to 1912 and twice from July 1, 1917 to July 12, 1917. On October 17, 1967, Puyi died in Beijing at the age of 61 due to uremia. First buried in Babaoshan Mountain, then moved to the Royal Mausoleum of Huarong near Chongling (Guangxu Mausoleum) in Qingxi Mausoleum. Puyi married four times in his life and married five women, the last marriage was with Li Shuxian in 1962. Puyi authored his autobiography, "The First Half of My Life", published by Mass Publishing House in April 1964.
