The new STIHL FSA 30 cordless grass trimmer is the latest addition to STIHL’s AS System range of battery tools. This cordless grass trimmer is perfect for trimming areas in small gardens that your lawn mower can’t reach, such as lawn edges, cutting around obstacles and clearing small patches of grass. The FSA 30 battery-powered grass trimmer is extremely lightweight, weighing 2.3 kg when powered by the 10.8 volt STIHL AS 2 battery. It has great balance making it easy to work in small gardens, plus the battery can be removed and used in any other machine in the STIHL AS System range. To use the STIHL FSA 30 cordless garden trimmer, simply push the rocker switch down and pull the trigger under the soft grip handle and you’re ready to go! Additional features of the STIHL FSA 30 grass trimmer include a tool-free adjustable length shaft and handle, which lets you set the FSA 30 to suit your height and can be rotated 90 degrees to make edging along lawns easier and more precise. Plus, there is a spacer bracket on the mowing head which means you can mow around obstacles or against fence lines without causing any damage. Spare STIHL PolyCut blades can be stored on the underside of the machine and are simple to fit and replace on the FSA 30 grass trimmer too. Pull and lift the old blade up to release it from the head. To fit the new blade, place the blade on the mowing head and push it down to secure it in place. To make the PolyCut blades more durable, we also recommend soaking them in water for 24 hours before use.
