In many Danish churches, there are 500 to 600-year-old wall paintings that depict life in the Middle Ages. At that time, these church wall paintings were likely the only images most people encountered. The churches on Lolland-Falster and Møn are particularly rich in fine wall paintings. At the Medieval Centre in Nykøbing Falster, a journey back to the 15th century awaits. Through reconstructions and reenactments, you can experience daily life, various crafts, ships, weapons, machines, and more.
