Today I want to show you how to install the EGR Superguard bug shield on to this 2014 Chevy Silverado. As you guys can see it comes with everything you need to get this on the truck. It comes with, of course, your bug shield, which as you guys can see is in this nice smoke acrylic finish and this thing is really easy to install with no drilling. It comes with plugs that we'll put into the holes on the hood, which I'll show you here shortly, and your screws and your washers to attach it and your instructions. So let's get this onto that truck. First thing that we need to do in order to put our new EGR bug shield onto our truck is we need to remove this rubber seal piece here and the way you do that is really easy. You have a body plug puller tool and what we're going to do is go in behind it and pop these right out of here. Okay, guys we've got this off and we're just gonna set this aside for safe keeping and we'll start prepping this out to get our bug shield on now. Taking our plastic plugs that came with our kit and we're putting these in place here where they're gonna. And this where we're gonna put our screws in to attach our bug shield to our truck. Now the way you find where those go is simply take the bug shield and put the bug shield up on the front of the truck and you can see where you're going to need to put those in at so next thing we're going to do then, is we're going to get our screws and our washers and we're going to start attaching this onto the truck. What we're doing is taking a Phillips screwdriver and attaching our screw into those things that we stuck in the hood, then what we're going to do after we get it snug down there and held in place, we're just going to leave that loose until we get all the screws in because we want to be able to move our bug shield back and forth to get it lined up properly so we know we got it even all the way across the hood. Once we have the screws all in and snugged down and just make sure that it's lined up nicely across the hood, it's even on both sides and we do have this one all even and lined up, so we'll raise it back up and then we're gonna tighten the screws down the rest of the way. And that will do it. Ready to go. There you guys go. Now you can see how quick, simple and easy it is to install the EGR Superguard bug shield onto your truck.
