TRIP REPORT - United Airlines (E-175, CRJ-200), St Louis to Burbank (CA)

Come along with me on my first-ever trip to the west coast! My unique travel arrangements allowed me to do some very unusual things with the trip report. That's because my friend Dan was traveling with me, but started his journey from Newark, NJ. We connected to the same flight in San Fransisco. As a result, parts of his journey from EWR to SFO are included in the report (thanks for the footage, Dan!), including the most awesome part: Synchronized footage of his landing at SFO both from in the cabin (his footage) and from the terminal (my footage). Aside from all of that, there's plenty more to love: -I got to fly on the Embraer E-175 - one of my favorite planes - all the way from St. Louis to San Fransisco. That's over 4.5 hours, making this one of the longest scheduled regional jet flights in the world. The E-175 is so awesome that I didn't get the slightest bit uncomfortable. -I got to see SFO for the first time. It's a very nice facility even as a connecting passenger. Definitely one of United's better hubs. -From SFO to BUR, I got to experience the CRJ-200 for the first time in many years. I'm still not a big fan. I much prefer the ERJ-145 and it's 1 x 2 seating arrangement, huge windows, etc. The 2 x 2 seating in the CRJ makes for very tight window seats with limited shoulder room, and the windows are small and low to the floor. Not a lot to love. -BUR is a COOL airport. It hasn't changed much at all in decades (feels vintage, not dated), it's quiet, and it's easy to get in/out very quickly.
