For pure sound quality it is studio derieved JBL that takes the cake with clearer midrange more extended top end and better balance and detail across the range. But Edifier R2000DB is not that far behind, and when You consider that it also looks better and has MUCH more rich set of features (remote control, Bluetooth, digital inputs) for the same money, than it starts to make more sense than JBL.
