In this video we'll install a beautiful Linux desktop (into a virtual machine), from scratch. If you have an older computer or laptop that can no longer run the latest Windows release, this is the video for you! Linux can give that old computer many more years of productive life, and contrary to popular belief, is very user friendly. You'll see in this video that it takes less than 10 clicks to install Manjaro Linux. If you compare that to a Windows installation, you might be pleasantly surprised! You'll need the resources listed below, mentioned in the video, to follow along. Manjaro Linux (KDE Plasma) installation image: https://manjaro.org If you plan on installing and testing Linux in a virtual machine, like we'll do in this video, you'll need VirtualBox: https://www.virtualbox.org If you plan on installing Linux on a real computer, you'll need Balena Etcher to copy the Linux (ISO) image to an empty USB stick correctly and make it bootable: https://etcher.balena.io If you're attempting this on a real computer, and not in a virtual machine (as demonstrated), please be aware that the instructions in this video will delete EVERYTHING from the computer.
