Suspect drives onto police car hood
Officers were investigating the report that a woman was being held against her will in a white Range Rover. Officers located the suspect vehicle and learned that the Range Rover was a stolen vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the Range Rover, when the suspect reversed onto the police car. The suspect drove away at a high rate of speed. Officers successfully deployed Stop Sticks, a pursuit prevention tool. A short pursuit ensued. The suspect finally stopped the vehicle and was arrested without further problems. The male suspect was identified as a 14-year-old. He was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center for suspicion of felony assault, possession of stolen vehicle, and driving on a suspended license. No persons were hurt.
