I appreciate Samsung's efforts to provide high performance devices at great prices, but they can do way better with the build quality. The body, for some reason, does not feel too intact. However, looking at the positive side, the device weighs only 112 gms and is 11.7 mm thick. The overall size of the Galaxy Chat is not too broad and is quite convenient and comfortable to hold. Talking for long hours would not be as much of a problem as it could be with Samsung's bigger counterparts such as the S III and the Note II. The Galaxy Chat is powered by an 850 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM. The processor is pretty much the same that we find in the Galaxy Y, Y Duos, Y Duos Lite and Ace Duos. The Galaxy Chat features a microSD card slot expandable up to 32 GB of memory. Integrated 2MP camera with no autofocus and no LED flash. No front facing camera, so no video calls. The device's internal memory counts up to 4 GB and lets you pictures (using the camera) without an SD card. The screen or the display of the Galaxy Chat is a 3 inch TFT capacitive screen with a low resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The display is average and the brightness is pretty average too. Colors aren't too brilliant, as it's an entry level smartphone trying to give you the best of touch and QWERTY keypad experience. There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so you can connect your standard earphones/headphones/speakers and enjoy music. You've got the volume rocker and the power lock key on the left and the right edge respectively. No dedicated camera key. For more information http://www.mobiscrub.com/Reviews/Smar...
