This undercover footage of animal cruelty, abuse, and suffering at dairy farms & auctions provides a heartbreaking glimpse into the tortured life of a dairy cow. The video was filmed as Animals’ Angels investigators visited locations across the United States, exposing the sad truth of how cows and calves are treated by the dairy farming industry. Cows are wonderful creatures who love large open pastures where they can roam and socialize. Unfortunately, reality is quite different for many cows who are put in overcrowded auction pens awaiting purchase by slaughter plant buyers. Many cows are injured or severely emaciated, and many can barely walk. These cows, called downer cows, are often callously discarded, and left to suffer a slow agonizing death.
