With a bit of a strange ordering process, and no samples on the website.... surprisingly, it is a great lens, nice solid metal construction, not "cheap" in sense of quality, very well built..... and look at that packaging!!! I had never seen so much "bulletproof" packaging in my life, shipped with care and love! Awesome........ ........ but while it is not very bright f-stop (3.5 ~ 4 for full frame), it is not a tremendous huge super mega difference (i.e. like a miracle) compared to cheap regular lenses in transmission sense for amateur photography applications... Anyway, it was a very good purchase. Decent performance in UV and IR. Recommended. Was very concerned about quality (aberrations and fringing etc), while there are no any image samples (c'mon), BUT actual image quality is great. Even in visible spectrum with UV/IR cut filters (or on regular cameras). I would use it as a good lens for video. They should promote it and not be shy. I used a huge amount of cheap and very expensive lenses, full range, and considered that this lens to be of great quality. Will test more. For full frame they offer 4 lenses, about 50,60,80,105 focal length with filter threads 49mm and 55 mm. And plenty of options for C-mount and other small mounts. Lens is in T-mount, and easily attached to a camera with simple $10 adapter to L-mount. For 250nm and in general lower 300nm I don't have a filter. Tried on 250nm antibacterial light, expected "wow effect" but it doesn't happen, while lamp is emit huge amount IR, and even with UV-pass filter, the filter itself not allow to go very deep.
