Tallahassee Inspired - DeVoe Moore, Businessman and Owner of the Tallahassee Automobile Museum

For years, DeVoe Moore has owned and operated numerous businesses in the Capital City. He's more than a businessman, though. He is passionate about giving back to the community he loves - Tallahassee. At age 9, DeVoe discovered his love for collecting when he started his first knife collection. In his junior year of high school, he began collecting cars. Over the years, his collections grew and grew. From cars to knives to pianos, he loved collecting. In May 1996, DeVoe decided to put his collections on display, inviting the public to see his treasures in what he dubbed the Tallahassee Automobile Museum. Today, the Museum boasts one of the nation's largest collections with over 160 automobiles. The Museum’s collection includes such rare automobiles as the first automobile designed by the Duryea brothers in 1894 and Abraham Lincoln’s horse drawn hearse.
