Walking around Phnom Penh in the blazing heat, I tried doing CV drop-offs at schools while looking for a teaching job — and hit obstacle after obstacle. Gatekeepers, security, reception desks… I couldn’t even get my CV through the door. In this video, I share the reality of job hunting in Phnom Penh as a teacher, what I expected, what actually happened, and why CV drop-offs were far more frustrating than I imagined. This is part of an honest, day-by-day look at finding teaching work in Cambodia — no filters, no success stories (yet).
