This is my 2021 remix of the "Never Return Alive" boss theme song, from the iconic beat em' up sequel: Streets of Rage 2/Bare Knuckle II, on the Sega Mega-Drive/Sega Genesis/(セガメガドライブ). Another big thank you first of all to Daniele Bagnasco, your input and musical knowledge is very needed, so thank you for support on my channel with my songs. Yesterdays version had some mistakes, so I will list the corrections: the kick drums are louder, the snare hits are louder, the closed hi hats are a different sound, the open hi hats are louder, the end retro strings at 1:29 and 4:44 are louder, the end main panned synth at 1:29 and 4:44 is louder and more crisp, and the very last new main synth at 2:44 and 5:58 is now louder. I hope these changes make for a better listening experience, and like the Go Straight edit I just posted, this will replace the yesterdays version in my Streets of Rage 2 album playlist, which you can find on my channel's homepage.
