How To: Fishtail Braid Updo

If you’re as obsessed with fishtail braids as we are, then you’ll love this new tutorial! Watch the video to learn how to create a beautiful fishtail braid updo in just 5 simple steps. Separate hair into two even sections and secure with elastic hair ties near the nape of your neck. Fishtail braid the entire length of each pigtail and secure at the bottom with elastic hair ties. To fishtail braid, separate hair into two halves. Take a small piece of hair from the outside of one half, and add it to the inside of the other half. Repeat with a piece from the outside of the second half. Once you have two fishtail braids, use scissors to carefully cut the elastics at the top of your pigtails, then gently pull the braid apart to loosen it.
