🏺 Jiroft Archaeological Site – Description and Discovery The Jiroft archaeological site is one of the most important and controversial discoveries in the study of ancient civilizations. Located near the Halil River in Kerman Province, southeastern Iran, the site first gained international attention in the early 2000s, though looting and illegal artifact trading had already begun in the late 1990s. 🕰️ When Was Jiroft Discovered?
