By Nyambe Nalishebo Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Obrizum Group Limited to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Zambia’s education system. The pilot project aims to improve the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of education in secondary schools and Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TEVET) institutions. Speaking during the signing ceremony in Lusaka, Technology and Science Minister Felix Mutati said the initiative aligns with government’s commitment to improving education. He stressed that the project will demonstrate how AI-driven learning can enhance efficiency, improve learning outcomes, and prepare graduates for the modern workforce. Obrizum Group Chief Executive Officer Chibeza Agley said the collaboration will focus on piloting AI-driven learning solutions for learners and educators. Dr. Agley explained that the pilot project will commence in mid-April 2026, initially targeting secondary school learners before extending to TEVET institutions. #AIinEducation #ZambiaInnovation #DigitalTransformation #EducationReform #ZambiaNews
