Order by Size - Hands-On Kids Activities​

Set-up this simple matching activity to help your child learn about ordering by size. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: (this list contains affiliate links) -easel paper: https://amzn.to/2ypSIgt -markers: https://amzn.to/2K0hCKc -painter's tape: https://amzn.to/2MlOSNF -various size (large to small) kitchen bowls (like these): https://amzn.to/2SJsrDm -various size (large to small) books WHAT TO DO: Roll out a large sheet of easel paper and tape it to the floor. Layout and order the books from smallest to largest then trace them using a marker to leave an outline of each. Do the same thing with the bowls. Give your little the stack of books and bowls and have them order by size. Chat with them about which books/bowls are the largest and smallest, talk about the shapes they see, count how many bowls there are, etc. All Engaging Littles activities REQUIRE adult supervision.
