EPISODE 5 – The Taste of Italy 🇮🇹 This episode is packed from start to finish. We begin the day in Rome, where we squeeze in a quick city experience — from espresso and piazzas to traffic chaos and beauty on every corner. After our short Roman stop, we hit the road again and make our way south, hugging the coast and passing the edge of the Amalfi Coast, chasing warmer air and local flavors. We arrive in Gragnano, completely unaware of what’s waiting for us — turns out, we’ve stumbled into the town’s annual pasta festival. The streets are alive with pasta-focused art, theatrical performances, music, local food stands, and more pasta than we’ve ever seen in one place. This town takes its title as the pasta capital of the world seriously — and we love it. The next day, we enjoy a proper beach day along the coast — sun, saltwater, and that beautiful post-festival calm. But the day isn’t over yet... We point the car toward Naples, determined to find the most legendary Neapolitan pizza in the city that invented it. The search begins. 📍 In This Episode: Morning moments in Rome Driving south past the Amalfi Coast Pasta Festival in Gragnano – food, art & local magic Relaxing beach day by the coast Arriving in Naples for a pizza mission 🍕 🚗 About the Car Still driving the Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Cabriolet, which continues to feel like the perfect match for southern Italy. From tight city corners in Rome to sweeping coastal roads, this car is as much part of the trip as the destinations themselves. 🛣️ The Journey Continues... This is part of a 9000 km, 3-week roadtrip from Sweden to Sicily, with no fixed schedule and every day full of detours and surprises. Episode by episode, we’re documenting the feeling of slowing down and diving deep into Europe — one meal, one road, and one view at a time.
