Even someone who never watches the video could fully understand the entire story by reading this description. 1. Preparing the incubator The video begins with a detailed setup of the incubator. Water is poured into the humidity trays, the device is powered on, and the temperature begins to rise to its optimal level. Every step is shown clearly — from filling the trays to stabilizing the control panel. 2. Loading 120 eggs Next, the egg rack is inserted. All 120 eggs are placed carefully, row by row. This part of the video has a calm and precise rhythm, almost like a ritual that marks the beginning of new life. 3. Incubation begins Once the eggs are inside, the incubation process officially starts. The camera shows how the inside of the incubator looks during the first hours — stable heat, proper humidity, and total silence. 4. Critical moment — Power outage on day 4 This is the most dramatic part of the entire video. On day 4 of incubation, early in the morning, a serious problem occurred: the power went out. When I woke up and checked the incubator, it was completely off. By reviewing the security camera footage, I discovered that the power had been out for almost two hours, right during the most sensitive stage of embryo formation — the phase when temperature is absolutely crucial. At that moment, I had no idea what to expect. Would anything hatch? Was the damage already done? The video captures this tension and uncertainty. 5. Power returns — a moment of hope After nearly three hours, the power finally returned. The incubator restarted by itself, the screen turned back on, and the temperature slowly began to climb from cold levels back to normal. This moment marks the turning point — the return of hope. 6. Incubation continues After stabilization, incubation continues smoothly. The eggs turn regularly, conditions remain steady, and development progresses toward day 19. 7. Day 19 — Candling the eggs On day 19, candling begins to check which eggs are developing and which ones are not. A total of 35 eggs were removed — some were infertile, and others contained embryos that stopped developing. This was the direct consequence of the power outage. The remaining 85 eggs were returned to the incubator. 8. Increasing humidity before hatching As hatching approaches, water levels are increased in the trays to raise humidity. Higher humidity helps chicks break through the eggshell more easily. 9. First signs of life Then comes the most rewarding moment — the first cracks appear. The first “pips,” the tiny openings made by the chicks from inside. The first faint sounds coming through the shell. Life begins to break out. 10. One day later — incubator full of chicks After about 24 hours, a large number of chicks have hatched. The incubator is full of tiny yellow fluffballs moving, chirping, and drying their feathers. It’s a powerful moment that contrasts beautifully with the earlier fear of losing the entire batch. 11. Day 22 — opening the incubator and final count Day 22 is the final reveal. The incubator is opened, chicks are counted and taken out. Despite the nearly three-hour power outage during the most critical stage, the hatch rate turned out surprisingly strong: A total of 80 chicks hatched. Much more than expected after such a risky situation. 12. Final message The video ends with a question for the viewers: “How do you see this result? Let me know in the comments.” A beautiful conclusion to a story full of uncertainty, effort, and new life. My incubator :) #incubator #chicken #eggs Hit the like button! Don't forget to subscribe!
