The online servers for NFS Carbon will be shut down at the end of this month, so the online community has organized one last multiplayer tournament this weekend. More than 20 people people signed up and the top 8 players qualified for today's final. Here you can see all 8 races of the final, with each player having picked one track and all cars in the game being allowed. Timeline: 0:00 Eagle Drive (Tier 1) 1:59 Brooks Street (Tier 2) 5:37 Chinatown Tram (Tier 3) 8:11 Knife's Edge (Tier 3) 9:39 Lofty Heights Downhill (Tier 3) 11:39 Mason Street (Tier 3) 13:57 Spade Street (Tier 3) 15:38 Ocean View (Tier 3) In the quarter final and semi final things were easy for me but in the final I wasn't quite able to keep up with the very best. In the end I finished tied for 5th in the point ranking. Unfortunately I failed to dodge the pursuit breaker on Chinatown, which probably cost me at least 3 places in that race. The other 7 races went at least decently though, considering that it's hard to hit your practice times online with only one attempt and 7 other cars blocking your view. These may be some of the last 8 player races that will ever be recorded in this game, so enjoy watching them. :) Congrats to my long time friends flx2105 and RevoCHX for finishing in the top 4. Definitely check out their channels and their backlog of videos if you want to see some more top runs in NFS Carbon. / flx2105 / revochx Unfortunately NFS Carbon doesn't have a LAN mode, so there won't be an easy solution for multiplayer after the official servers are shut down. There are some people who are working on third party solutions but I am not sure how well those will work. If anything great for third party multiplayer gets released I will try to cover it on my channel of course.
