SRJ Group of Institutions, Kalaburagi, successfully conducted the Grand Abacus and Vedic Mathematics State-Level Excellence Competition on 18th January 2026 at Veerashaiva Kalyana Mantapa, with the enthusiastic participation of thousands of students. The prestigious competition was inaugurated by the founders of SRJ Group of Institutions — Mr. Raghavendra Joshi, Founder & Managing Director, and Mrs. Supriya R. Joshi, Founder & CEO. Their vision and guidance played a key role in making the event a grand success. Students from Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir, and Vijayapura districts actively participated, making the competition a strong state-level academic platform filled with confidence, discipline, and learning enthusiasm. A unique highlight of this competition was its dual assessment pattern. Along with a written examination, students were evaluated through an oral examination, testing their speed, accuracy, concentration, and mental calculation skills. In the written round, students completed 500-mark calculations within 8 minutes, while in the oral round, they answered 10 questions in 1 minute, showcasing exceptional numerical abilities. The event reflected outstanding teamwork and coordination by the entire SRJ Group of Institutions team. Special appreciation goes to all the coordinators for their systematic planning, dedication, and tireless support in managing students, parents, schools, and examination flow smoothly. Parents expressed great happiness and satisfaction witnessing their children perform confidently under time-bound conditions and appreciated the platform for enhancing students’ confidence, focus, and problem-solving skills.
