1. How can you export the Virtual Machines as a template? 2. Why do you want to export a VM as a template? You has multiple VMs need to deploy. The convention way is to install 1 VM at a time, that took out lots of time. To save time, you can install a single VM with your desired OS (Operating System), then you can export it as a template. Next, you can start replicate them into your Hyper-V Management Console thru the template that you had just exported. You are going to see it how it is done on the next video. This features is particular useful if you need to setup 10 or more to VMs. This will speed up your deployment by at least 50% of your usual deployment time. All you need to do, is to changing the name of the server, and its IP address. Set the server according to your requirements, and/or environment, and/or can be harden the existing server, before export it as a template for various office environment - i.e.: SIT, UAT and PROD, and/or respective OS platform, and/or version. Or, if you made a mistake and you want to reset the server setting back to the state where you fresh installed the Windows, and unable to use the "Last Known Good" features to restore the last settings. Then this import features available in the VM will be an alternative for you.
