I initially received an older version of this walker, and had my 90 year old grandmother try it. She loves it, but it was lacking the lower handles that aid users when transitioning from the sitting position to the standing position. This version is significantly better than the previous one. Upright walkers promote better posture and aid weight distribution to provide relief for weakened knees, ankles, feet, or lower bodies. as matter of fact, you could easily place one knee on the seat and walk on only one foot if needed. I purchased this walker with my own money and am providing this review and advice in hope that it will assist others who need mobility aids. For those of you who are considering transitioning from a traditional walker to an upright walker, I can tell you that it is a decision you would not likely regret.
