Filmosound 385 into guitar amplifiers- part 1. First listen before any mods or other work.

This is a film projector to guitar amplifiers conversion I have taken on for a client. With some mods it can deliver some vintage tweed type sounds. This is the first listen to the stock amp with a guitar through a speaker. Before doing that I replaced the output jacks with standard 2/4 inch jacks. Other that that it is still dead stock. It is very noisy but sounds good with the volume opened up to about noon. Putting it past that around two o’clock does increase the noise but the sound is pretty inspiring. This is going to be a very challenging project as the room is crazy tight inside the chassis. But initial listening tells me it will be worth it.
