Gunsmoke to Gunpowder to Shotgun to Musket is an intermediate ski run located at Gunstock Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of the mountain down to the base area. The run begins to the skier's right of the summit of the Panorama chairlift on Upper Gunsmoke. The trail is narrow and features a relatively gentle pitch as it gently makes its way down the upper mountain. Eventually, the trail then comes to an intersection where I stayed to the right to ski onto Gunpowder, a flat trail that connects Gunsmoke to the Pistol area of the mountain. At the end of the trail, I turned left onto Shotgun, a narrow and winding trail that features a few dips as it makes its way down the mountain. The trail eventually merges back onto Lower Gunsmoke, which gently makes its way down the mountain's runout. The trail then merges onto Musket, where many of the upper mountain trails come together just before reaching the base area. Gunstock Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Gilford, New Hampshire. The resort is located in Belknap County in the Lakes Region of Central New Hampshire and is about a 15-minute drive east of Laconia, a 45-minute drive northeast of Concord, a 1-hour drive northeast of Manchester, and a 2-hour drive north of Boston, Massachusetts. The resort is known for its variety of intermediate terrain, its breathtaking views of nearby Lake Winnipesaukee, and its extensive night-skiing operation. In addition to alpine skiing, the resort offers many other activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and a mountain coaster. The resort is owned by the local Belknap County government and is not a member of any major multi-mountain season pass.
