Bromford Tunnel links Water Orton (East Portal) to Washwood Heath (West Portal) on the approach into Birmingham, and this route follows the alignment away from the tunnel area towards the Delta Junction branch. The flight starts at the Bromford Tunnel East Portal, then heads over the Attleboro Retaining Wall and the new Attleboro Lane realignment, including the new overbridge. From there we continue above the Attleboro Flyover, tracking east then northeast, crossing the M42 motorway and pushing on towards the Lichfield Road area. The route then continues over the River Tame East and West Viaducts and Water Orton No. 2 Viaduct, finishing at Hams Hall Junction just before Faraday Avenue. You’ll see a full-route drone flyover with key structures, earthworks and connections along the way, filmed from public areas and stitched into one continuous journey. ✅ This is the first of three Delta Junction full-route flights.
