A year later his single “Aruite Kaerou" ("Let's Walk Home") became his first hit. Saito followed up with a string of other hits including “Utautai No Ballad" ("Ballad of a Singer"), “Wedding Song", “Zutto Suki Datta" ("I’ve Always Loved You") and “Yasashiku Naritai" ("I Want To Be Kind"). Music fans as well as fellow musicians and artists in Japan love and respect his work. In 2011, Saito launched his band, MANNISH BOYS, with the well respected drummer Tatsuya Nakamura. They have released three albums so far. He spends much of the year on the road playing with his band as well as in his solo performances. Recently, Saito teamed up with Yohito Teraoka, Tamio Okuda, Takashi Hamasaki, Yo-King and Tortoise Matsumoto to form Curling Sitones. Saito is also a successful producer and songwriter for various artists in Japan. Saito will be releasing his 21st album “55 STONES” on March 24, 2021.
