I bought a BC109 transistor Fuzz Face clone from a local builder recently. The guy was really kind and helpful and asked me to drop a few sounds, so I did. Overall very nice build! Only a couple of downsides, namely input/output jacks are placed opposite of what you'd expect (like a vintage Green Russian or sth) and the pots operate counter-clockwise. Oh, and the switch makes a LOUD pop when the effect is engaged. Otherwise, pretty damn cool little fuzz. 10/10 would order again from Ico Sound. I am very impressed by the sound of this pedal, to be honest! I've never messed with a Fuzz Face circuit, and even though I only found one usable setting ("fuzz" to the max/"volume" to taste) it's a sweet, sweet sound! Less "fuzz" and it gets all dead and boomy, but that might be useful to some. Great for slightly choking velcro lead sounds, as well as Mudhoney like chords. Power chords sound gnarly!
