AI in #journalism – more than most think: The London School of Economics (LSE) published a survey of AI in 105 media organisations in 46 countries – https://lnkd.in/gfU3SMp3 “More than 75% of (publishers) use AI in at least one of the areas across the news value chain of news gathering, production and distribution,” it found. Separately, way back in July, News Corp revealed it was using AI in 3,000 local stories a week. The LSE study, published in September, also found that: “More than 60% of respondents are concerned about the ethical implications of AI integration for editorial quality and other aspects of journalism” such as “accuracy, fairness, and transparency.” Peter Waters knows more about this than most.
