A collaborative production with poetry genius, Omotola Abidemi. Omotola Abidemi was born in Lagos. She lived most of the years of her life in Northern Nigeria and the Federal Capital. In 2018, as a result of her mandatory immersion program into French language, it was mandatory for her to leave the North to Badagry (somewhere in the outskirts of Lagos). This move drew her closer to her roots. And for the first time in her life, she faced a cultural identity crisis. She is Yoruba. She uses this piece to remind us that no matter where she goes, she would never forget her roots and never feels the urge to tug them off. Though she might not be vast in the Yoruba language, she is not one to be stereotypical. Abidemi has featured on stages in Abuja,Nasarawa,Kaduna and Lagos.
