But the final result? Worth every effort. 🎂 Piping Techniques & Tools Used: 104 piping tip – Classic ruffles 6B piping tip – Shell border 21 piping tip – Reverse shell border (signature Kutiwa touch!) 18 piping tip – Accent piping on ruffles No. 3 writing tip – Drop lines Paintbrush – For “cake surgery” recovery details Custom topper: “Always & Forever” made by yours truly 💕 I always say: "If you can add a reverse shell border… do it." It adds movement, texture, and that nostalgic bakery feel. 😅 Behind the Scenes (Real Baker Life): Let’s talk mishaps. While piping the drop lines, my tip dipped into the cake 😱 — but I stayed calm, popped the cake into the freezer, cleaned it up gently, and covered the area with a strategically placed bead. 🎨 In fact, I added beads all around the cake and it turned into a Bob Ross “happy little accident.” You really can’t go wrong with sprinkles. 💡 Pro Tips From This Tutorial: Always test your glitter — black glitter will ruin an elegant white cake.
