I’ve spent way too much time reading library books about drawing, watching YouTube videos about watercolor painting, and trying to understand how artists actually learn. But at some point, I realized I was studying art without really making art. So at 43, I've decided to build my own personal art school curriculum. Just a simple, intentional plan to finally get better at drawing and painting. In this video, I share the exact process I used to create my self-taught art curriculum using free library books, 1 online course, and a realistic weekly study plan that fits my life.
