Hello everyone, I am 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐤𝐚 from 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥. Today I am going to give you a brief introduction about 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡. I have divided this video into three different parts. So here is the first video. Recently we have seen a great influx of students who want o to pursue Master of Research. Therefore, to help with their queries, I will be discussing what are the major pointers looked upon by the admissions team while evaluating the Research proposal. In general, a proposal must define the chosen area of study, detail the aims of the project and provide an indication of the approach to the research you wish to take. Enough detail is required so that department can determine if it has the resources and suitable supervisors to support you as a research candidate. Master of Research leads to MPhil which can further lead to PHD. There are several disciplines a candidate can choose such as, Biomedical Sciences, Computing, Earth, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Education & Anthropology. A higher degree by research is usually required for an academic career or a professional career in research. I addition, many discipline specific employers recognize the skills developed through research degree are discipline in the workplace.
