This is probably the easiest way to defeat the Chromatic Lampmaster on your very first playthrough. To do so, remove everyone from your party except Verso. Then add Maelle followed by Sciel. For same results, make sure you have the exact same Pictos and Lumina as in the video and nothing else equipped. Turn 1 Verso: Shoot until no AP is left. Then do a Base Attack. This will also apply Greater Defenseless on the enemy. The goal is to increase burns and max the Gradient Bar. Turn 2: Verso: Repeat the same as previous turn. Turn 1 Maelle: Use Burning Canvas to take away Life #.1 This will also max the Gradient Bar. Turn 2 Maelle: She will consume the Gradient Bar on this turn. Use Gustave's Homage to take away Life#2. This should also switch Maelle to Virtuose Stance. Turn 1 Sciel: Use Our Sacrifice to proc Shortcut on Verso and Maelle, allowing them to go again before the Chromatic Lampmaster. Turn 2 Sciel: Skip turn. Turn 3 & 4 Verso: Use Steeled Strike to burn away Life #3. Turn 3 Maelle: Use Burning Canvas to finish off Life #4. Turn 4 Maelle: Finally, use Gustave's Homage for the last time to finally burn the Chromatic Lampmaster's final lamp by ending its Life #5.
