A Lineage Support Gems guaranteed drop exclusively from special Bosses. On the map these bosses icons are a bit orange (at least on my screen) so you will easily distinguish those from ordinary ones. Some of those special bosses located at Sandstorm maps. To get access to it you need to dispel sandstorm by finding and destroying 3 Temporal Tethers in nearby maps. Those tethers are located on boss arena only... P.S. Do not cry if you do not have bosses close to that special boss location (and so will not be able to collect 3 tethers.) Just clear all maps around that special one and you magically will be able to go there. Dunno if it is wad (works as designed) feature or a bug though... It is true for all special maps - get to/destroy required number of special "items" or just clear surrounding maps. P.P.S. Besides guaranteed drop from special Bosses lineage support gems are a world drop. Drop rate for my setup (100-ish % rarity increase) is close to Divines drop rate. So far I got 8 Lineages: 3 from those bosses, the rest - world drop (on ordinary map it could be drop from map boss, rares or even from trash mobs). UPDATE Besides Temporal Tethers there is another "clickable" object, Draiocht Hengestone, you need to find to be able to get into a map with a special boss. Those appear not only at the map's boss arena. If there is no boss on a map you need kill all rares, it will appear after you kill the last rare close to its body...
