Beloved, Jesus is our ultimate example and standard for how to live, walk, and fulfill purpose. Everything Jesus accomplished—He first saw it in His spirit. He lived from vision. Jesus Himself said, “The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do…” (John 5:19) He didn’t move until He saw. He didn’t act until He envisioned the Father’s will. Vision birthed His obedience. Before Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He had already seen the miracle in His spirit—and He shared that vision with His disciples. But they couldn’t grasp it because they couldn’t see it. This is a spiritual law: You cannot walk in what you have not first seen. Just as God sees the end from the beginning, you must see the end of what God has called you to do before you can begin to walk it out. Jesus lived this truth. He declared to the Father: “I have finished the work You gave Me to do.” (John 17:4) How could He say this before the Cross? Because He had already seen the finished work. Hebrews 12:2 shows us the power behind His endurance: “Looking unto Jesus… who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame…” The joy set before Him—the vision of our redemption—was so vivid in His heart that it empowered Him to endure the Cross. His imagination was not on the nails, the mockery, or the pain. His imagination was fixed on the outcome: You and I reconciled back to the Father. For every whip, He saw your healing. For every insult, He saw your freedom. For every wound, He saw your salvation. This is why He could endure. Vision sustained Him. Imagination fueled Him. Purpose carried Him. Beloved, this is the pattern for us. If you cannot see where God is taking you, discouragement will rule you. If your imagination is fixed on the problem, the pain, or the moment, you will faint along the way. Hebrews 12:3 warns us: “Consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners… lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.” In other words: Discouragement is a sign that you’re considering the wrong thing. Weariness is proof your imagination is fixed on the wrong image. Fix your imagination on Jesus. See the purpose, not the pressure. See the promise, not the process. See the outcome God spoke, not the obstacles you face. Your vision determines your endurance. Your imagination determines your movement. And your ability to see determines your ability to possess. Keep your eyes on Jesus and the finished work He accomplished for you— and you will walk boldly into everything God has ordained. #grace #christjesus #jesus #faith #vision #visionary #see #image #imagination #imagine #focus #focused #power #powerful #look #inchrist
